History

The bases of SanoRice lays in The Netherlands, where the rice cake production started in 1987 under the name of Reforma, where at the time only conventional rice cakes were produced. Six years later Reforma was taken over by Novartis.

In 1998 Corpeq took over the rice cake activities from Norvartis and SanoRice was founded. Corpeq is a private company with 4 different divisions with a turnover of ? 150 million and has around 700 employees. The broad technological knowledge present in the Corpeq group of Companies offers great flexibility. SanoRice is the only part of the group focussed on the FMCG market, but there is a division that produces machines, including the popping lines we have in our production areas. Like this, we can adapt and improve the machines easier, which results in better product development.
